According to Health Advisers physiotherapist Laura Herman gave seven tips on how to deal with back pain, and it turned out that the results were quite effective. 1. Try a different sleeping position If the pain is in the neck, try to check the position of the pillow, if it supports the position of the head. A good position is just the head on the pillow, the neck and the shoulders outside. When the neck and shoulders are on the pillow, the joints in that part of the body will press in the opposite direction and cause the neck to harden. Try different types of pillows to get the right one even if there really isn't a type of pillow that really fits. The harder mattresses are also better for treating back pain than soft ones. 2. Use the imagination Incorrect position of the body can cause muscle imbalance. It can compress multiple areas of the spine, which can cause pain. Try to imagine that there is a gas balloon in the head that can pull the body so that its position is straight, the spine is straight and does not bend, and the chest looks more robust. 3. Activate the template Make the body more active, for example by exercising. Pilates is very good for the skeleton, and healing with a trusted physiotherapist is the most effective treatment for back pain. Also participate in physical activities and sports for back strength. 4. Combine physical exercise with Pilates A strong back can reduce the risk of pain in that area. Some people choose to exercise in the gym and others choose Pilates. Actually, the method is not correct. It would be better if the two were combined. 5. Forget about flat heels High heels are often considered a cause of back and knee pain. But wearing flat shoes can have a negative effect on your back, especially if your feet are flat. Choose shoes that are comfortable and not too tall or flat. 6. Find the right position to sit The sitting position can affect the back, especially in the coccyx area. Choose a chair with an erect backrest and do not continue sitting for hours without being interspersed. 7. Don't stop moving Try not to sit or sit still for a long time. If you are sitting, try to stand every 20-30 minutes, change position and move. Stretching the muscles or simply walking in the office can relax the spine.
